WHAT MAKES OUR VENUE GREAT?
Diggers Tavern is a family-owned business offering affordable meals and accommodation to families and groups of all sizes. The current venue owner bought the property, originally the Bellingen RSL Club, and founded the Diggers Tavern in 1998.
The venue is conveniently located on Hyde Street in Bellingen adjacent to the Memorial Hall and opposite the Bellingen Shire Council and gardens. It is within easy walking distance to the variety of boutique gift shops, colourful markets and riverside activities that make Bellingen one of the most popular destinations on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
Tavern
Diggers Tavern welcomes everyone. We’re open at 10 am Monday through Saturday and 11 am on Sunday and public holidays. Our facilities feature a large public bar, lounge and entertainment area, dining area, beer garden and accommodation. Other facilities include a meeting room TAB and gaming facilities.
Motel
Diggers Tavern offers 13 affordable rooms. Our room designs include a disabled access room and bunkhouse, accommodating up to 12 guests. Secure overnight motorbike parking is available for solo travellers and social bike groups. Call us to book our motel rooms for your special events today.
Dining
